Pind Daan is one of the significant Hindu rituals offered to ancestors to help them get peace and attain moksha. The sacred town in Bihar, Gaya, is the most important site for such a Pind Daan in Gaya, because it is said that the Lord Vishnu himself gave salvation to the souls there.
